George C. Dixie received his law school education at Columbia University and the
University of Texas (L.L.B., 1962).  He has been admitted to practice in all Texas courts; the
U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits; the U.S. District Courts for the
Northern and Southern District of Texas; and the Supreme Court of the United States.  He is
board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in the fields of Personal Injury
and Civil Trial Law since the Texas Board set up a certification system in 1978.  He has an
AV Martindale Hubbell rating.  Martindale Hubbell is the primary rating agency of lawyers in
the United States.  He has extensive experience in handling a wide variety of personal injury
and civil litigation cases, including the handling of wrongful death claims and personal injury
claims involving construction, and/or truck accidents, representing victims of crimes caused
by inadequate security, medical malpractice, and substantial employment law cases
involving such issues as wrongfully terminated employees whose federal or state rights
have been violated, such as being discharged for sexual discrimination or for filing workers’
compensation claims under state law.
