Aglaïa D. Mauzy received her law school education at Southern Methodist
University (L.L.B. 1959). She has been admitted to practice in all Texas
courts; the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit; the U.S. District Courts
for the Southern and Western District of Texas; U.S. District Court, Eastern
District of Texas; and the Supreme Court of the United States. She is board
certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in the field of Family Law
since the Texas Board set up a certification system in 1978. She has an AV
